2026 RLNA Academy Program Summary

The 2026 Redcliffe Leagues Netball Association (RLNA) Academy Program has been an outstanding success, providing young athletes with opportunities to develop their skills, build confidence, and experience competitive netball in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Throughout the season, our Academy teams demonstrated exceptional commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship while representing RLNA at several carnivals across different associations. The results achieved by our players reflect not only their hard work and dedication but also the support of our coaches, volunteers and families who contribute so much to the success of the program.

U9 Academy

Our U9 Academy team enjoyed a fantastic season, achieving excellent results across their carnival appearances. The team remained undefeated at the Downey Park Carnival, showcasing impressive teamwork and development throughout the day. They also secured a Runners-Up finish at the RLNA Carnival, highlighting the growth and potential of our youngest Academy athletes.

U10 Academy

The U10 Academy team produced an exceptional season, consistently performing at a high standard and achieving outstanding results. The team were crowned Winners at the Metro Carnival, Winners at the Downey Park Carnival, and Pool B Winners at the RLNA Carnival. These achievements are a testament to the players' dedication, determination and willingness to learn throughout the year.

U11 Academy

Our U11 Academy team continued to demonstrate the strength of RLNA's player development pathway with a series of strong performances throughout the season. The team were crowned Winners at the Metro Carnival, achieved a Runners-Up finish at the RLNA Carnival, and secured 5th Place at the Downey Park Carnival against strong competition.

Looking Ahead

RLNA is incredibly proud of all Academy players who represented the association throughout 2026. Their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and commitment to improvement have been outstanding, and the results achieved across all age groups demonstrate the continued success of the Academy Program.

We congratulate every player, coach, manager, volunteer and family member who contributed to the season and look forward to seeing these young athletes continue to grow and progress through RLNA's representative pathways in the years ahead.

Season Duration: June 2027 – August 2027 (8 weeks)

Target Groups: U10 and U11 ONLY (2016 and 2017)

Program Phases: Development and preparation into Junior State Age

Cost: $100 + gst per person includes singlet and carnival participation costs
