NetSetGo Program 5-10yrs

Net Set Go (5-6yrs)
The RLNA Netball Association will again be conducting the Suncorp Net Set Go - Net 8 week program in 2025

What is Suncorp NetSetGo?
Suncorp NetSetGO is a fun, safe, social and active program for girls and boys aged 5 to 6. It gives kids of all abilities a positive introduction to netball and teaches them the basic skills of the sport.

Suncorp NetSetGO is divided into three tiers; Net, Set and GO,your child will fall into the Net tier.

Each week your child will take part in skill based activities, minor games, music, dance and towards the end of the program modified games that will help them develop fundamental movement skills, as well as important social skills like team work. Each session will be lead by an accredited coach, using modified equipment.

REDCLIFFE LEAGUES NETBALL ASSOCIATION NET SET GO PROGRAM!

NET Program (Ages 5–6)

Learn new skills, make friends, and have a blast doing it!

The NET Program is a fun, skills‑based introduction to netball designed especially for 5–6 year olds.
Perfect for beginners, this program focuses on movement, coordination, ball skills, and confidence in a friendly, play‑based environment.

Program Details

  • Age Group: 5–6 years
  • Division: Age-based
  • Session Length: 60 minutes
  • Day: Saturdays
  • Time: 8:00am – 9:00am
  • Program Length: 10 weeks
  • Season Dates: Saturday 18th April – Saturday 27th June 2026
  • There is no training for this program. You just need to arrive at the courts each Saturday before 8am and meet the coordinator.

🌟 SET Program (Ages 7–8 – Born 2018 & 2019)

Modified Netball + Skill Development (Non‑Competitive)

SET is the next stage of the NetSetGO pathway, introducing players to team‑based play with modified rules. The focus remains on learning, teamwork, confidence, and FUN—without competition or scoring.

Program Details

  • Age Group: 7–8 years
  • Division: Age-based
  • Modified Competition: Non‑competitive, modified rules
  • Training: Wednesdays, 5:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Game Time: Saturdays, 8:00am – 9:00am
  • Season Start: Saturday 18th April 2026
  • Coordinator: Leanne Kitson

Parent coaches are encouraged and supported for Saturday game days.
Leanne will deliver all weekly training sessions, with parents welcome to assist.

🌈 Come & Try Day – SET (7 & 8 Years)

New to netball? Come along and try it in a fun, friendly environment!

Full Rules, Team Games & Skill Growth

The GO Program teaches players how to apply their developing skills in a full‑rules competition environment. This is where children begin to understand positions, teamwork, and structured match play.

  • Age Group: 9–10 years
  • Division: Age-based
  • Competition: Full netball rules
  • Training:
    • Day: Set by team coach
    • Recommended Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Game Time: Saturdays, 8:00am – 9:00am
  • Season Start: Saturday 18th April 2026

Come & Try (GO Division)

The GO Come & Try session will be delivered by Moreton Bay Pulse, our elite development partners.
